Volunteer Receptionist/Administrat

Coast Access Radio 104.7FM

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our small, friendly team at Coast Access Radio.
We are a community radio station broadcasting to Kapiti and Horowhenua, and we are located upstairs in Mahara Place, Waikanae.

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our small, friendly team at Coast Access Radio.
We are a community radio station broadcasting to Kapiti and Horowhenua, and we are located upstairs in Mahara Place, Waikanae.



We have a number of volunteer (unpaid) Receptionist / Administrator shifts available.
These are ‘Front of House’ positions and you will undertake a range of administration tasks including reception duties.

Each shift is four hours long.
The shifts available are

Monday 9am-1pm
Friday 9am-1pm
Friday 1pm-5pm
Please nominate the shift or shifts you would prefer.


The successful candidates will be flexible and adaptable team players, ideally with some administration and reception experience, and the following qualities:

• Friendly telephone manner with a positive people focus

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Diplomatic
• Good computer and administration skills

• Ability to show initiative

• Happy to deal with a variety of people


Duties include
• Greeting visitors

• Being first point of contact with staff, volunteers, trustees, advertisers and broadcasters

• Updating our computer calendar and other documents, as required
• Doing the dishes
• Emptying rubbish bins



Please note we are more than happy for volunteers to work on their own projects during their shifts, so you are welcome to bring in your laptop/ipad etc and utilise our wifi if needed.
