A VISIT FROM ST JOHNS AMBULANCE
Today our children were fortunate enough to have an educator from St Johns Ambulance, with her friend Ambie the Ambulance, join us at kindergarten. The children learnt about different emergency services, their roles, the special clothing worn by ambulance crew, what it looks like inside an ambulance, the equipment children may interact with in an emergency and what we need to do in an emergency.
The children got the opportunity to see some real oxygen equipment, try on some ambulance clothing, support an injury and practice putting on bandages. It was a fun morning for everyone and we all learnt so much - thank you St John's Ambulance!
