Magpie Market Stall of the Month
Hi everyone, we had a great Market on Saturday 5th May. The weather was lovely and the stalls looked great. It was lovely and buzzy - no doubt helped along by the great coffee from Heaven's Bakery caravan. So thanks to everyone who came along, enjoyed the atmosphere and bought goodies for themselves or others. This month our featured stall is Geranium Cottage where you can buy natural plant based products including hand wash, balm, floral water sprays, hand creams & essential oils as well as a range of hand crafted items including wreaths, willow hearts, flax flowers,
lavender bags, pot pourri and magnesium cream and calendula balm and oil. This is a really lovely stall, beautifully presented - smells wonderful too - and full of lovely products to pamper yourself or someone special with. Come along to our next market on 2nd June and sample some of what geranium Cottage has on offer.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
