Traffic problems McLeod Street - update
I have now received a reply to my letter re the above.
Council officers will speak to kindergarten folk with the view of relieving problems noted at set down and pick up times. This is good.
The other main issues relating to crashes on the big bend at the southern end and suggested remedial action with parking along the north end will have to wait until next year. Council is relying on a 2007 consultants report which believed no action was necessary.
I will be going back to council again sometime in February. Council recognizes that an update with consultation may be necessary so keep new comments coming. I will keep all posted as I go. Any photos that you may have that may be useful would be appreciated. Email them to me keithrdavis@outlook.com Trust my judgement as how best they be used.
