Can we help you with your hearing?

Hearing Auckland

Hearing Auckland works for the community. We offer free, friendly, helpful and independent advice on hearing loss. We are a non-profit organisation - all income goes towards helping Aucklanders with hearing issues.

Our clinic offers a full range of services including hearing and tinnitus assessments and a hearing aid fitting service. A registered nurse offers an earwax removal service that will soon be extended to wider Auckland with a new mobile facility.

A new pilot project has been introduced to help fund hearing aids and provide support for low-income families. It provides a range of assistive listening devices such as phones, clocks and amplifiers, and repair. This will enable access and provide advice on government funding available through the Ministry of Health, ACC, Enable, Work and Income, and Veterans’ Affairs.

As an advocate on hearing issues since 1932, Hearing Auckland works to raise awareness of hearing loss and the need to protect hearing. Our staff will do workplace assessments. If you feel like we could help you, please get in touch. You don’t have to be a member to use our services.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
