A $2.8 million plan to stall coastal erosion at a popular Hawke's Bay seaside settlement has been given the green light.
Hastings District Council agreed on Thursday to fund the lion's share of a planned sea wall at Clifton beach, south of Napier, where erosion of an access road to the local campground and a boat ramp has become a growing problem over recent years.
