Wendy from Roger Sumich

Two-Nine-Five - inspired by Caribbean concrete villas, where longevity and luxury meet. With north-facing views of the Gulf Harbour Country Club (a world-class Robert Trent Jones Jr designed course) and south back to Rangitoto and Auckland city, you will be spoilt for choice. An easy walk to the fairways, or spend some time relaxing with a wine in the club clubhouse or café.

Set out over three levels, the four bedroom, office, 4 living and 4-car garaging home tempers modern touches with timeless design. From the moment you enter the property a choice of formal and informal living spaces open up to vast alfresco decks from almost every room.

At over 548sqm, there is just too many features to list, and the home lends itself to extended family living, au pair, or even two families sharing.

With the Americas Cup now confirmed, this home would make a fabulous base with easy access to the Hauraki Gulf. If you are looking for a base as an executive retreat, or guest accommodation, you won’t beat the value here.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
