We bought a property in Dairy Flat in 2013. The rates bill in 2014 was $1880 for a year. I today received the rates bill which is now $9985 for the year. A 500% increase in 8 years! The rates bill in 2014 was $1880 for a year. I today received the rates bill which is now $9985 for the year. A 500% increase in 8 years! Nothing has changed for this huge increase. We have been rezoned from rural to urban but we are still on tank water and the roads are crappier than when we came! What is this council doing with our money. They obviously think there is a bottomless pit! Shame on you Phil Goff! No wonder there are so many angry people in this country.
