I counted between 10 and 12 last year (including two all day outages due to maintenance). And they have started again this year. Yesterday I called in an outage at 11:00 am and the automated message from Vector never changed all day. Even by 9:00pm they were unable to say when power would be restored. It seems a few gusts of wind, a rain dump or some lightening can cause an outage. It’s gotten so that I regularly check the weather and prepare buckets of water just in case. It seems like a very fragile system.
