Needle felting classes
Hello,
I am gauging interest to see if anyone local would like to learn needle felting. I am an experienced fiber artist with my work sold internationally and have taught people from 12 to 60+ years old.
This is a beginner class and you will learn basic needle felting techniques and create a ball to decorate as you wish. The photos are an example I made for a previous class.
Beginners lesson is a 4-5 hour session dependent on pace of the group. $65 per person - includes all materials you will need to create the project and light refreshments.
Class size will be limited to 6 spaces.
Class date TBD based on interest but will be held on either a Saturday or Sunday.
Message me for more details or to enrol.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
