Join Whanau Awhina Plunket as a Drop-In Coffee Group Facilitator and become a vital part of their supportive Community Services team. In this role, you'll create a relaxed and inviting space where parents with babies of all ages can gather informally each week. Your responsibilities will include setting up a cozy meeting area, greeting parents with a friendly smile and a drink, and fostering lasting connections. Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
