WORK WANTED 🙋♂️. Anytime is a good time to have your decks and structures checked for deteriorating timbers and fixings . Rot and rust don't just fix itself. Those areas that don't seem as stable or solid as they did , should be checked , heavy mould builds up and traps moisture damaging timber .Handrails that have movement when leaned against can be a sign of fixings failing. The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
