We are One with the Sikh Community
As Wellington becomes more diverse, there is a need to promote better understanding amongst the various faith groups lest faith itself becomes a divider amongst our people.
The Sikh Community has the privilege of starting off the Tawa series, and would be very pleased if you are able to make it on Sunday afternoon between 3-5pm at the Tawa Community Centre. Entry is free and some refreshments will be provided. It is a family friendly event and children are welcome.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
