Scam phone calls about Visa credit card fraud

I've received 2 phone calls this morning from NZ numbers, with automated US voice stating they are from Visa and that there are a couple of impending charges on my credit card. They are just checking in with me because I haven't ordered from these merchants before, transactions alleged to be $1,000 and $800, press 1 to accept them or 2 to decline. I was immediately suspicious and hung up. Logged in and checked my Visa cards and there's no sign of any impending charges. Not sure what would have happened if I'd pressed a number on the call. Maybe they'd have collected my card details or something. Calls came from NZ numbers 022 399 4297 and 022 399 3368.

The Ministry of Social Development is reporting that fake information is circulating about new ‘December bonuses’ or ‘benefit increases’
