Walking Well
Walking is an important part of daily life. Starting next week is a 3 week workshop which will look at the way we walk and how we can help reduce the wear and tear on our joints and tissues.
You will learn:
- correct body alignment
- simple exercises to reduce the pressure on the knees and feet

There will be three sessions. The third will include an outside practical session (if weather permits) to put our new skills into practice.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
