Playtime at St Hildas (Island Bay) today and Friday- 9.30 -12.30
We are open as usual today. We've put the toys out, your task is to bring the children! We are happy to see any child under the age of 5, and we are especially well equipped for children under 2 years. So come and meet other parents and caregivers in a relaxed and friendly environment, and have a chat over a cup of tea/coffee.
And remember our outside play area is open anytime for children with their caregivers.
FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
