Hello everyone. I am a Miramar local and I just wanted to share my new small business venture of mobile cat sitting. If you are planning a trip, or want to plan a break away, but not keen on putting your cat through the stress of a cattery, I can help by visiting your cat in it’s own home. I can feed, play, and clean up litter boxes. Other small tasks like opening and closing curtains and clearing the mailbox can also be included. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
