Spin Poi for Seniors week and ongoing

Hi all. My regular Tuesday Spin Poi class has started back up at Level 2. There will also be a one-off Intro class tomorrow for Seniors week. Both will be at the Kibirnie Community Centre.

Tuesday, 5th Oct, 5pm - Spin Poi open class - free this week, if it's your first time, then $5


Usually there's no need to book, but at level 2, there is a cap on numbers. So let me know if you want to come along to either class, up to an hour before the class starts.



Playing with poi is a lot of fun! Spin Poi can be done sitting or standing and is suitable for almost everyone. Inspired by traditional poi, it has been adapted to be a safe and effective exercise, especially for older populations. On top of the usual benefits of exercise, typically people will see improvements in grip strength, attention, focus, balance and coordination.

Poi provided. The class is suitable for beginners to intermediate. It is 45 minutes long and we cover:
o Welcome, safety reminders & warm up
o Practice poi movements
o Playtime! 20-25 minutes of poi to music
o Cool down
