Roads turn to rivers in Wellington - how has the rain affected you?
Heavy rain is causing flooding across Wellington with roads turning into rivers of rock.
Wellington City Council spokesperson Richard MacLean said they had received "multiple calls" since 8.30am of surface flooding from across the city and urged motorists and pedestrians to take care.

Valid: 9 hours from 9:00am to 6:00pm Friday
Forecast: Periods of heavy rain. Rainfall accumulation may approach short duration warning criteria, eg 50mm in a 6 hour period.
