Direct Wellington Zoo/Wellington Railway Station Bus Service
Prior to the 2018 Bus changes we had a direct trolley bus service to Wellington Zoo from the Railway Station, being the number 10 during the Week and we had the number 23 on the Weekends. Since July 2018, there has been no direct service to the Zoo anymore, instead you have to catch High Frequency bus to Wellington Hospital then catch a feeder bus from Wellington Hospital to the zoo, a journey of 1.5km.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
