Learn how to play bridge at Victoria Bridge Club
Bridge lessons start at 7.30pm on 18 February 2026 at Victoria Bridge Club, 112 Tinakori Road, Thorndon.
The cost is $60 for 3 months of fun. Cheaper than 12 coffees, and it is a skill that you can carry with you and share with a group of friends.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
