On the 20th a package of perishables was scanned as having left Whangarei for Wellington. Today (26th) I got an update saying it would be another 5-7 working days. The depots are overwhelmed. Wonder what sorting strategies they use? Have they employed more sorters and drivers? And our lovely, courteous Seatoun driver was delivering last Sunday, bless him.
In tomorrow's meeting (Wednesday 27 May), the Mayor and Councillors will consider information about the Wellington Central Library building and services.
