To support the Newtown warehouse by keeping the yard organised and tidy so new donations can be collected, organised and distributed easily.
Key Tasks:
• To keep the warehouse yard tidy and adhere to Health and Safety standards.
• Sort incoming donations into rubbish and quality goods for the shop manager to access.
• Sort rubbish into recycling areas.
• Liaise with van team and help store large donations and furniture items in designated areas.
• To deal with all donors and customers in a respectful manner while offering top notch customer service.
Skills Required:
• Great organisational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strength, stamina and the ability to follow health and safety guidelines regarding lifting and working in a warehouse environment.
- An eye for detail.
• Basic handyman, cleaning and tidying skills.
Personal Attributes:
• A cheerful, people person attitude willing to go the extra mile to help others.
- The ability to communicate easily with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- To be reliable and punctual.
Time Commitment
• To be individually agreed on.
