Scam Alert: Phone ‘surveys’ to promote fraudulent investment platforms
The Financial Markets Authority is warning the public about a recent scam involving fake phone ‘surveys’ to promote fraudulent investment platforms.
These scams steal personal information, take your money, and demand more in “fees” but you never see a payout.
Be very cautious about unsolicited calls or messages about financial services.
Check if an entity is registered on the Financial Service Providers Register.
