Thinking of selling?

Clare from

Tip for the week - HAVE A GOOD CLEAR OUT – more than just a spring clean....Don’t wait until the week before you move, make headway so that you can present your home in the best possible light. This might mean anything from ordering a skip or filling some bags for the local Vinnies Store.
Make sure that you clear out cupboards, shelves, nooks, laundry cupboards and the pantry. If there are things that you really don’t want to part with, pack them in boxes and store away neatly either in a garage or a lock up.

Dog handlers turns heads

Nicholas Boyack Reporter from Community News

Meet the dog walker who controls 16 dogs.
Drivers stop to take photos and after a ruff day, office workers come up to Phil Krieg to ask if they can pat the group of dogs accompanying him along the footpath.
It's a hard sight to miss in Wellington, Krieg in his bright yellow vest walking a large group of dogs, moving together as a calm and orderly canine collective.
With Krieg as their leader, the dogs sit when they were told and moved to the side to make way for runners, other dogs and those walking on the footpath.
In 2008, Krieg’s wife, Penny, came up with their dog walking business, Loose Leash Dog Walking. Penny said they called it Loose Leash because that was the idea – walking the dogs on a loose leash and trusting them to behave.
The pair lead groups of dogs, ranging from 12 to 16, on walks around Wellington.

SPCA Pet of the Day: Meet Max

Nicholas Boyack Reporter from Community News

Max is looking for a home.

"I was an unplanned pregnancy and brought to the SPCA to find a home.
I may look like a typical wild rabbit, but I can assure you I am not. My Mum was a domestic rabbit and super sweet. I am good with people I know, and am still young and still learning. I have an inquisitive nature and would love a home with people who will have me around them, either as a solely indoor rabbit, or mostly indoors. I will need a large outdoor area with a weatherproof hutch or shelter for days when the weather is nice. I will need to be inside as part of the family at night, so a hutch or area inside with you is important. I would also like a female rabbit for company, so if you have a lonely rabbit maybe we could be friends?
