Was the council wrong to decline this rātā blossom sculpture?
A community business group backed by Wētā Workshop is contesting a decision which saw its bid to build a sculpture of a rātā blossom on a piece of council-owned land declined.
The group wanted the sculpture to sit below the Wellington sign on the hill at the north end of the airport, but the council said no.
