What's on at Strathmore Community Centres, 108 Strathmore Ave and Raukawa Reserve.

Morena everyone,

Our garden seedlings already are sprouting after our Saturday get together. Exciting!
Thanks to the crew who came along for a fun get together. Lemon cake baked by Zonya was AMAZING!
We will be meeting again Saturday 1st September 10.30am for more seed planting and weeding.
Come along and join in.

It was great to see new faces this week at our community lunch. So much food! It was delicious!
Next lunch will be September 11th, 12pm.

Sasha Ortega and Pilates is back in Strathmore! This Saturday 25th Aug, 10am. Come along to our Centre and give it a go :)
Social worker Kim will be at 108 Strathmore Ave this Thursday 23rd Aug, 9.30-1.30pm
Michael Budget Guy Monday 20th Aug, 10am-11.30am

Raukawa has Community Law this week, Wednesday 10am- 11am
Michael Budget Guy also will be on site Wednesday 10am – 11am

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
