Lost cat
Buster has been missing from The Esplanade near Jeep Rd since Friday morning. He's a 2 year old, fluffy grey and white cat with lavender collar and usually very friendly. Please check your property, sheds and garages in case he's stuck in there and call me if you've seen him. Would also really appreciate your help asking any tradies working in the area who he may have hitched a ride with. His brother and I are really missing him. Thanks so much. Bernadette 0274 866 346

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
