Dwights Canvas Two-Room Tent
This is a great old-school NZ made canvas tent. In excellent condition - these tents last! (Have seen this model used for 'glamping' at campgrounds where they leave them up permanently.) Bit heavy and slower to erect than the modern bendy pole things but so much nicer once they're up. (Well that's what we think anyway!) Only selling as now living in Australia; we have had some great holidays in this tent! Pick up only, from Island Bay 'til Thursday morning or from Camborne after that. Photos not great sorry - listing is just for the canvas tent, however the shade/gazebo is also available, plus some free camping equipment - enquire if interested.
Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
