Brooklyn Scouts - Shave for a Cure

We have a Brooklyn Scout, Alex, who would like to support Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ by doing Shave for a Cure. Our Kaiārahi (leaders) are also showing their support for this great cause - Joss and David will also be shaving their hair.

David will also allow the highest pledge to shave his head into whatever style they like (though at the end of the night it will all come off!!) Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Lia, my 13yrs old, ginger tabby disappeared from Bannister Avenue/Heath St, in Johnsonville, early hours of this morning. An indoor cat, and was en route to Wainuiomata Carevets for the holidays. She will be terrifed in unfamiliar surroundings. Please contact me on 027 4329135 if spotted.
