1. Scrape food scraps off plates into the bin (not down the sink)
2. Put fat, oil and grease into the bin too
3. Use drain strainers to catch food residue in the kitchen and hair/fibres/soap scum in the bathroom & laundry
4. Run just hot water in sinks and showers at least once a week to prevent a build-up of dirt and residues
5. Only flush The Three P's (pee, poo and paper) down your toilet

Global Prep programmes give 15 to 18-year olds opportunities to focus on projects such as sustainability, conservation and human rights. The student will attend activities during the day.
Families are paid $300 a week towards any expenses and provide accommodation and meals.

Today, our Wellington Water whānau gathered at our Petone offices to reflect on the recent events in Christchurch. This illustration by Kiwi artist Erin-Monique O’Brien is a lovely way of showing how we can reach across the water and offer our aroha to all those affected.
