Outdoor Pilates - Aussie Fundraiser.
Let's do some good.
Come join me for some outdoor pilates to help support our Aussie neighbours! This is for a very serious cause but the event will be 100% non-serious pilates. A 50-minute full-body workout designed to bring joy and leave you feeling fantastic. Emphasis on lifting each other up.
Empathy overload and the feeling of helplessness is real. I know I'm not alone in feeling this. We can help combat this feeling by moving together, and doing something good for ourselves while raising money to help those affected by the fires.
Partaking in things that are normal and pleasurable are crucial to help us fill our cups so we can keep engaged with the world.
I have personally donated but it doesn't feel like enough. I would love to see what else we can do as a community, and know from experience I can definitely facilitate some joy and optimism through movement.
Donations of any size are strongly encouraged, however, if you aren't in a position to donate, we still want to see you there! Come and show your support by moving with us!
All proceeds/donations will go to wildlife rehab & support and communities in need of assistance in rebuilding their lives after the fires. I have some ideas of the organisations I would like to support but happy to accept suggestions!
After we calculate donations, Hoi will either match or contribute a percentage of the total donations. (I say that only as a disclaimer in the hopes that my dream comes true and this thing freaking takes off and hundreds of people show up)
THE DETAILS /
SUNDAY 9am at Miramar Park on Darlington road.
BYO mat/towel, however it's on the grass so not necessary.

Rain or shine I'll be there.
PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT! Nothing would make me happier at this point in time than seeing this spread across our greater community ♥

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
