This is help me become the best companion I know I can be and this also provides me with enrichment. My new home would need to have someone around for most or parts of the day as I am not used to being left alone for long periods. I would love a home with kids that are confident around dogs as I can be a bit bouncy when interacting with people. My new home could have a dog, one that is social and is happy to share their home and people with me. I have yet to be cat tested. Before her I had Harley for 9 years. Greyhounds are perfect pets: they are affectionate, don’t smell, are very relaxed and need very little exercise. They are not called couch potatoes for nothing!"

The National Emergency Management Agency has instructed residents leading up to … View moreExtreme caution is advised across New Zealand today as MetService has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch which remains in force for Nelson, Buller, Taranaki, Manawatu, Kapiti-Horowhenua, Wellington and Marlborough.
The National Emergency Management Agency has instructed residents leading up to the storms to:
- Take shelter, preferably indoors away from windows;
- Avoid sheltering under trees, if outside;
- Get back to land, if outdoors on the water;
- Move cars under cover or away from trees;
- Secure any loose objects around your property;
- Check that drains and gutters are clear;
- Be ready to slow down or stop, if driving.
Once the storm is over, caution is needed outside or when driving as there may be fallen trees and power lines. It is best to avoid streams and drains as there is chance of being swept away in flash flooding.
