Looking for a change?
At Tranzurban, we're hiring.
Right now we are looking for people who are keen to work out of our 5 depots through the Hutt Valley and Wellington region. We are looking for people who want full time work, part time work or are just keen to join our casual pool of drivers.
• Our wages start at above the living wage
• Opportunity to drive double deckers - and electric ones too!
We have a range of urban driver positions available across the Wellington region designed to suit a variety of lifestyles. We are looking for experienced bus drivers, as well as people new to the industry.
Yes, our full time jobs have split shifts because of the nature of the job with peak runs morning and night. Some people love them; they can get chores done or catch up with friends. Some study in between shifts.
If you are not keen on split shifts, then maybe you would like to work a part time shift in the mornings to assist with our peak services, or if you are a night owl, maybe take a part time shift to help with the evening peaks. Maybe a 6am - 10am shift 5 days a week or 3pm - 10pm a few days a week. Just give us a call to talk about the options.
Perhaps you can only work on a casual basis? No problem, just give us a call and we can work with you to offer shifts which fit your availability.
Give our HR team a call today on 0800 200 018 to chat about the possibilities!
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
