Free Master Painter Instructions

Alfred Memelink Artspace Gallery

One of New Zealand's top watercolour artists, Alan Collins, will be demonstrating his painting skills at Artspace Gallery on the Petone Foreshore, between 1 and 3 on both Saturday and Sunday. Feel free to call in to check out his mastery of this art and hear some of his amazing and funny yarns about his painting experiences.

This painting titled, ''Night & Day'' Discharging Our Fuel'' is one of the last paintings Alan painted on the spot for his exhibition, now on at the Gallery and this is the last weekend to view it.

Alan has been busy preparing for his exhibition over past year, it features 25 new paintings, many of around the Hutt Valley, Eastern Bays and Wellington harbour and most were painted on the spot, (plein air). The exhibition is open 10.30 - 4pm daily until next Wednesday, 25th Nov. At the same time as visiting Alans exhibition, feel free to check out our amazing range of other local art and unique range of NZ made gifts. Don't forget to wish him a happy birthday for next week, 94 years young.

Te Omanga Hospice’s Annual Street Appeal

Te Omanga Hospice

Te Omanga Hospice’s Annual Street Appeal is taking place during Hospice Awareness Week on Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May (Upper Hutt Brewtown Market only on Sunday).

You will see our official volunteer collectors out on the street (come rain or shine) across the Hutt Valley, wearing pink aprons and holding white donation buckets.

Please give generously when you see an official collector.

We need your support to keep our services free for all those who need us. Together we can make a difference to the over 600 patients and their families we care for each year.

If you can’t donate at one of our collection sites during the appeal, you can also donate through our Givealittle page givealittle.co.nz... or online at www.teomanga.org.nz...

Thank you for your support!
