If you receive one of these types of call, under no … View moreI have just received a telephone call from a person who says he is from "Microsoft Windows" and that I have a virus and he will clean it up for me! I have had these before and they seem to be repeated throughout an area for a while. If you receive one of these types of call, under no circumstances should you follow the persons instructions. Perhaps (like me) you may like to inform the person that "the FBI are outside his office and is about to arrest him"... this seems to result in him immediately hanging up. Alternatively just hang up. One will leave from Titahi Bay and one from central Porirua at regular intervals, there will be return … View moreWe’ve arranged for some FREE minibuses to make sure everyone who wants to come to our popular snorkelling events can make it on 2nd & 9th March (there’s limited car parking on site). One will leave from Titahi Bay and one from central Porirua at regular intervals, there will be return minibuses to take you back too. You can also walk or cycle there along the coastal walkway, or over the hill down Whitireia Road.

We’ve added some great new activities for land dwellers as well, or for when you’ve finished snorkelling. Anyone aged 8 and above can snorkel (equipment provided) and the land activities are suitable for all ages!

With Eminem at Westpac Stadium, The Hollies and John Prine performing, and the hugely popular Newtown Festival happening over the weekend, an estimated 23,000 visitors will be in the coolest little capital in the world!

There will be added congestion on the streets and footpaths, and as safety is paramount, areas in the Courtenay Place precinct will be closed to traffic from 8pm on Saturday 2 March until 4.30am on Sunday 3 March.
