Local Builders for All Types of Work
Hi There!
I've been lurking on Neighbourly for quite some time now, and I've yet to post. So here it is.
I'm a qualified licensed builder with a small team of tradesmen. We do all manner of residential building work, be it minor repairs or full house builds.
We thoroughly enjoy the work we do, and we aim to do the best we can every time.
Last year we were building three large townhouses near Waterloo Station, and this year we have built numerous decks, done some bathroom and kitchen renovations, a few roofing jobs and various maintenance work.
We are currently in the midst of a fairly complex renovation, and in the coming months we will be starting a large re-clad and window replace job and a new architectural house build.
Anyway, if you're looking for a builder or have any work you'd like to get done, feel free to get in touch.
Cheers!

Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? π°π²
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if itβs approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?

A riddle to start the festive season π²ππ
I'm a fruit. If you take away my first letter, I'm a crime. If you take away my first two letters, I'm an animal. If you take away my first and last letter, I'm a form of music. What am I?

Constable Street car wash rip off!
Hi, today I went to the Constable Street car wash that's beside the petrol station. After depositing $6 for three different rinse cycles I discovered that there was no water pressure for any of them. I had just foamed my car so I had to drive around and join the que again to use the left car wash....this time I discovered that $2 only rinses half of my small Suzuki Swift whereas $2 used to rinse the whole car nicely. Two or three weeks ago I encountered the same 'no water pressure' problem there. I imagine that people will be depositing $2 coins to no avail in a continuous stream. It appears that the owner doesn't care about providing a proper service to to their paying customers.
