ANZAC DAY (25 April) - Last Post and Ode to Remembrance 10am
Dear neighbours, I live across from Hataitai School at the start of Rakau Road. I know many may wish to observe Anzac Day at 6am at your letterboxes. I wanted to let you know that I will also be playing the Last Post at 10am from our deck and another neighbour, Commander Roger Havell RNZNVR will be reciting the Ode to Remembrance. We're both very aware that Level 4 restrictions remain in place. But if you wanted to be at your letterbox or nearby (maintaining the two metre distancing and remembering we must avoid anything that constitutes a gathering) it would be a pleasure to share this with you. Some of you may have heard me playing earlier this week. I am in the NZSO and was also recording a version for them. Kia Kaha.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
