Response from council about pigeons nuisance...
Thank you for your complaint regarding the pigeons in Wellington CBD.
Pigeons are an increasing problem within the city but unfortunately Wellington City Council has no current plans to eradicate pigeons.
We are trying to targeting those that are found to be feeding pigeons but we have to either catch them in the act or have strong evidence of who they are.
Building owners with a pigeon infestation problem can contact pest control at their own expense.
