Wellington Samaritans Online Appeal
Last year we helped Wellington Samaritans by donating funds towards a campaign to recruit more volunteers . It’s now time for their annual appeal.
Samaritans provide a crucial free mental health support line .
Usually, hundreds of volunteers would be getting ready to collect donations for us, and Wellingtonians would donate, helping to ensure the ongoing operation of our helpline. Unfortunately, Covid has forced them to abandon their Street Appeal for the second year in a row.
Please consider donating to support your local community .

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
