200L water tanks available on Saturday 8 June
Northern Ward city councillors will be selling 200L emergency water tanks for $110 each outside Churton Park New World from 11am to 12 noon on Saturday 8 June. North Wellington Community Patrol will be there from 10am to 2pm at the same venue offering their “Safer Plates” service for $5. See wellington.govt.nz...
$10 from each tank sold on Saturday 8 June will be donated to the North Wellington Community Patrol .
We will have a limited number of water tanks available on the day. If you want to reserve a water tank by paying in advance and picking up the tank on the Saturday, please email malcolm.sparrow@wcc.govt.nz for online banking information. Otherwise you’re welcome to turn up and we may have some left!

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing person Ella, who has not been seen since Saturday 27 December. Ella was last seen wearing grey pants, a pink shirt and slide-on slippers. Ella is believed to be in Johnsonville, or the wider Wellington City area. Police and Ella’s family have concerns for her wellbeing and would like to see her return safely.
