ARMS ACT REWRITE 2025

Hugh from Ngaio

ARMS ACT REWRITE 2025
On 15 January 2025, whilst most New Zealanders were on holiday, the Ministry Of Justice launched the Public Consultation Process for the Firearms Act Rewrite.
As at Monday 10 February the public has only 19 days remaining to make submissions.

Submissions close on Friday 28 February 2025.
If you are one of the 65,000 people who, in March 2019, signed the petition banning semi-automatic weapons, you need to visit the Ministry of Justice website and re-affirm your commitment.
www.rnz.co.nz...
If you don’t act now, currently banned semi-automatic weapons will be re-introduced this year.
How does that make New Zealand a safer society?
www.justice.govt.nz...
Remember submissions to the Ministry of Justice close on 28 February 2025.

Stamps wanted

Marty from Johnsonville

I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
