It is not Feathered Friend Friday but a beautiful white tūī has been spotted in Wellington.
Thank-you Sean Gillespie for your lovely pictures.
We'd be keen to hear about your favourite summer holiday spots in NZ. Is there somewhere you keep returning to year after year and, if so, what are the main attractions? What makes it such a stand-out spot? Any tips you may be able to offer on the best things to see and do there - as well as the best places to grab a drink or bite to eat - would be much appreciated. Please put 'NFP' (not for publication) in your comment if you don't want it to appear in a travel article. Thanks again.
Selling a house is always stressful and in Wellington the preferred option is tender.
Just 7.9 per cent of sales went under the auctioneer’s hammer in Wellington last month, compared with 40.6 per cent in Auckland. Meanwhile, tenders made up only one per cent of sales in the City of Sails, and two-thirds in the capital.

Johnsonville's ailing shopping centre could be the site of a development up to 18 storeys high.
The mall's owners have asked the city council to change the rules to allow for an 18 storey apartment block to be built on the shopping centre site.
The council is currently considering a rule change to allow for eight storey buildings.
What do you think? Is 18 storeys too high?
