Free Luggage - Check-in x 5 + Carry-on x 1

Amitava from Kaiwharawhara

Free ... Samsonite Cosmolite Extra Lite Hard Cover Luggage x 5 + Jag (Blue Colour) x 1 - needs to go ASAP as taking up garage space. If no one shows any interest either today or tomorrow then I will give them away to Salvation Army.

Apart form airline luggage tags on them and some scratches the bags are in good condition ... no cracks, handles all OK, built-in TSA number locks (000) are all working fine including the full rotating wheels. They are very tough but super light at the same time ... made with Samsonite's patented CURV technology.

In one of the pictures you will see that one of the hinges of the Big Red Samsonite is broken ... but that should matter much as the zip line in these bags are super tough - that's why Samsonite gives 10yr warranty on these bags. These bags are NOT 10yrs old - but I don't have the proof of purchase (misplaced or lost) hence can't give it to you ... also, we just came back from South Africa with that bag (broken hinge) and nothing happened to it.

If you want, you can also take that bag to Lesvos (the bag repair people inside the Wellington Railway station) ... I am sure they can repair it ... those guys are luggage magicians. :-)

What's your preferred peanut butter?

Katie Townshend Reporter from Dominion Post

Premium and alternative nut butters - like Wellington's Fix and Fogg - have some of the highest sales growth at supermarkets nationwide. Have you made the switch to more artisan brands, or would you rather stay with the tried and true?

The Team from Wellington Water

The water quality in Owhiro Bay is being affected by a cross-connection. A cross-connection is where a wastewater pipe is connected into a stormwater pipe. Most cross-connections are from private pipes into public (council) pipes, and this is the case here. Wastewater from private properties is entering the stormwater system, which leads to Owhiro Stream, which leads to the Bay.

We are working with the property owners concerned, who were not aware of the issue, to resolve it as quickly as possible. We expect to have these sorted by the end of the week. We're also continuing our investigation and testing; it can be a mistake to think the first fault you come across will fix the problem.

If you have concerns about what you think might be a cross-connection at your place, please let us know and we'll come and take a look. Our main concern is to eliminate as many of these as we can.

Warning signs that recommend against swimming and fishing in Owhiro Bay remain in place, and will stay there until we receive three consecutive days of clear results. We will update via social media and the website when this changes.

If you have been swimming in the area and feel sick, please visit your doctor.

We will be sharing regular updates every few days on the situation in Owhiro Bay through our website and social media platforms.
