We need your help please!
Dementia Wellington is holding our first appeal of the year. The Wellington Appeal will be held on Saturday 30 March in supermarkets across Wellington, the northern suburbs, and Porirua. We have sixteen sites to fill and we need lots of people to help us raise money for local families affected by dementia, so please sign up now to volunteer as a collector.

And for those of you outside Wellington, don’t worry if you can’t volunteer this time as we will be holding appeals in Kapiti and the Hutt region later in the year.

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
