FREE Self Defence for Women & Girls : Tue 25 May @ 7pm
The evening is aimed at Self Defence and giving women and girls the understanding and awareness of how a dangerous situation can arise. What opportunities and options are available to defend and defeat a would-be attacker. Also how to better prepare by understanding and education around such attacks to ensure you have predetermined the outcome by education.
The course is simple and straightforward and presented in a non-threating way to enable everyone to learn and take away some new skills and tools to help them feel safer and more confident.
It should be a fun and invigorating time for
all who participate.
The course is specifically designed for self-defence not fighting.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
