Wainuiomata Mall Night Market!!

Katt from Wainuiomata

You read right! This Friday at the Wainui mall from 4pm-8pm is a locally run market. Hopefully people will spread the word and come and check it out, support the local crafters and hopefully it will be able to be an ongoing event.
Home preserves, Homemade greeting cards, soaps, designer table napkins to use as table center piece, scented candles, kiwi crafts canvas board photos, chocolate, fudge, liquorice and nougat, hand made belgium chocolates, scentsy, picture fantasy, jewellery, kawakawa natural products, macrame, crystals, spray art, finger art, clothes and bric a brac, toys, and lots of other crafts.
So something for everyone ... lots of parking ... get your weekly shop at countdown ... treat the family to McDonalds maybe. But lets try to bring our mall back to life ... even if its the last time the market is able to be run. May even have a lil music to keep us warm!!

SPREAD THE WORD PLEASE!!!!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
