Not in any way a rival for the markets that graced that of Wellington's waterfront and Lower Hutt's river carparking area.

Four months ago the suburban railways announced the completion of their double tracks between Trentham and Upper Hutt ralway stations would occur within two months and that a special event would be held in thanking the public inconvenienced by all the upheaval.
Well two months late but none the less it is now all go BUT where is this special event? And what form was it going to take - free train trips or free icecream/Christmas cake/ chocolate Santas at the stations affected?
Oh well. just make sure the new pedestrian crossing gates open and shut as designed and the underpass doesn't leak.

Meet four month old Kora who is available for adoption at the Wellington SPCA.

"I'm a playful pup, who loves having a wrestle with my friends and burning off my puppy energy. I have quickly become a volunteer favourite and they can’t understand why I am still here. I am looking for a semi-experienced home to help me learn the necessities, continue my socialisation and help me thrive in my new home. Due to my age, I'm not able to be left alone for more than a few hours at a time, though it's a great time to continue my puppy training.
I am beginning to learn basic commands like sit, down and come. I love chasing balls and chewing , I am very clever at doing both of these things. I am yet to be tested with small animals, and could learn from an existing male dog in the home. I am better suited to a house with confident teenagers, rather than children. If you're keen to meet me and be very entertained by me, apply to adopt me and the canine team will be in touch."

Got in the earliest we have ever put up Xmas decorations today but still days and weeks behind quite a lot of neighbours.

Seems we are becoming more Americanised because they certainly hit the ground running with Christmas decorations especially externally.

Only had to walk 10 minutes in order to cut the top threequarters of a young pine tree which was growing like a weed. And as quickly as you can say "Santa Claus In A Sleigh Pulled By Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer", we had the tree covered with new fancy multiple coloured lights that have nine differing patterns/functions.

Going to a party where part of the gift exchange is Xmas decorations and so we chose two tree items that are largely green coloured and always wondered the interest factor with green on green.
