Theft of items left at Salvation army store.
I parked in the carpark at the rear of the Salvation army shop in Upper Hutt this evening. I couldn't believe the number of people who were going through the clothing and other things that had been dropped off. I know people are asked to not drop off items after hours but that is still no excuse for what these people were doing.
At least four groups arrived and took items away in their cars or bikes. One guy had a huge carton full balanced on his bike.
