Touch down at Trentham marks 100 years since first Cook Strait crossing by air
Aaron Patchett, left and Paul Hally piloted the Fox Moth plane across the Cook Strait on Tuesday, 100 years to the day since Captain Euan Dickson carried out the flight for the first time ever. The plane landed at Trentham Racecourse as was done on the original flight.
